I have that on my resume because I haven't worked since 09 so went ahead and put that on my resume so take a chance

Be encouraged my sister, just keep the faith, keep uploading your resume to the job search sites. Maybe you will have to take a no experienced needed type of job until what your looking for comes up. The main thing is to never give up, don't get too discouraged and know, God sees all, trust and believe, for this too shall pass. I pray that God will continue to provide for you and your family, thank God for what you do have and know it could be worse, take a look at the current events around the world. Be encourged, keep the faith. God bless you in Jesus name, in which that relationship has to always be your first priority, so when God calls us home, we will stay home, for we had a good report for we followed Jesus. Amen

Having 20 yrs exp, advanced in MS Programs, laid off for a 2nd time in 2013, lucky to get an on-call admin position with school district, I make $14 - 24 / hr depending on who I sub for. $12 / hr? Employers take advantage, I saw BK hiring at $14/hr. It is extremely frustrating, good luck. Others are in the same pool!

Go back to what you did before or you might even try working for the local government entities. Dispatcher, jail administrator etc.

What are you studying in school? Five years is a long time and if you're having problems with employment now, how do you plan to market yourself after school?

I get it. Unemployment looks good compared to some of these jobs. But don't give up hope, now a days you have to wade through so much stuff but that job you seek is out there.
