2nd interview???
Had a 2nd interview today with the owner of a new restaurant.He asked me 5 questions that i believe i answered right or him nodding seemed like the answer he was looking for..He told me training would start in a month and that the head waitress would call with the details...But he never actually said "You're hired."" or You have the job and i didn't ask...I asked if i should call he said the head waitress will call you...I shook his hand said thankyou and i said I'll c u on the 5th of December...But im not 100% sure i got the job...Should i call the head waitress in a week or so to say thankyou for recommending me for a second interview and say I'll see you on the 5th or should i just be honest and say i wasn't sure if i had the job ??????Please give me advice on what to do next ????????????Confused ?????

The next step would to be firm with knowing ahead of time, you had the job to do what you feel to be right in the moment but also remember to weigh each outcome. Doubt in a managers eyes though sounds concerning for their joy and love in what they do. A light is what you were meant to bring bc knowledge is wisdom attained by not wanting power. A part of the team is important when thinking about the whole. Advice. maybe use and renovate old buildings rather than building. or are you really asking.. whats the point.
I would call
I would have asked for a business card or tried to find an email and send a correspondence emaill the same day. For example I got invited for the first interview last week via EMAIL. I assumed the person who emailed me was a receptionist or administrator..however the email was: name@company.com So my interview went well and the guy who I interviewed with said if I was selected for a 2nd interview, I would be contacted over the weekend. His name was adrian.. I assumed his email was based on the admin email > adrian@company.com So I emailed them both thanking them for an opportunity to interview that day and how much I am excited about the opportunity looking forward to meet with them again.. Luckily enough Adrians email was correct. I did get another email sent to me about being called back for 2nd interview this week..and the admin CCd Adrian whose email was what I assumed.
Point to this story if you dont have an email from the business card.. try to find one.. or at least reach out to the person who first contacted you and send them something so they can REMEMBER you.. sometimes they forget who is who. Even though they should be making notes on the resume of people who they are choosing. If I were you, I would call to just confirm with them for Dec 5th. That is only a couple days away.
