So when I came to work for Sonic a LONG time ago you had the choice of wearing skates when you were a car hop. You didn't have to, but a lot of people said you made more tips if you did so, of course, I took up the challenge. I figured how hard could it be? Well for me it turned out...VERY. I have two left feet and absolutely zero coordination. It was going ok until I was skating a little too fast one day and ended up dumping a shake all over the hood of this man's shiny convertible. I don't remember what kind of car it was I just remember him giving me this death stare. He opened the door, got out and was dead silent at first. I wanted to run but with the stupid skates, I wouldn't have stood a chance. He took a deep breath and said it was ok that these things happened. I was shocked. I got some water and a clean rag and he helped me wipe it up. Sonic bought him a shake on the house and I learned a valuable lesson. Never wear rollerskates at work ;)
