I was looking to change career paths from mortgage to a different field. Walmart is always hiring so I applied online and followed up with a phone call about a week later to get a call back for an interview to be a register associate in the Pharmacy. i went for the interview and all went well. I started working almost immediately, after my background and drug test came back ok. I was a register associate for over a year and then I decided I would like to move up and try a different angle so I became a pharmacy technician with different responsibilities. I do love my job and I do the best to my ability to perform the tasks that are asked of me. I have been there for 10 years but it is a retail setting and that can start to burn you out after a while.
