So discouraging
I had an application in at a local job. They seem to be very interested in me before I applied and asked me to apply. Now they are acting like they never mentioned that I should put an application in for a job. It was with a Transit company and you have to have a CDL as a matter fact they mentioned I need to get a CDL learner's permit. Now they're acting like they never said that. Overall it is so discouraging when people try to encourage you to file for a job and then they put you on a Shelf I act like they don't know what you're talking about. I still plan to get my CDL. I will have to go through a class which will be fine because I will also get my air brake endorsement
Push forward to get the license you need. Meanwhile THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX. Have car deliver newspapers, apply for courier jobs.
Is it for NJ Transit? They have great benefits i worked there 16 years left at 29 an hour
Good keep going with your plans and apply for another job when you get your CDL it's there lost...do your thing
Many times, when something like that happens, it's probably a blessing in disguise. It might not be a good idea to be a part of that company. Hang in there...

I've had the same happen over the past few weeks. Just when I was feeling like giving up though, someone hired me. With no previous experience and better pay than my last job plus benefits galore. So don't give up. Maybe a better offer is just around the corner!!
Many of these places you are referring to, are getting paid for YOUR BEING . . . . . "THEIR EMPLOYEES ! They function just as a temp server
Absolutely disheartening, and aggravating, why can't people just be straight-the-#!?#-up?! I have had same sitch too many times, I'm still completely dumbfounded why they make the effort to lie......flat-out bullshitters, & for what is this bs? Just some(yeah right wish it were only some......)have nothing better to do than blow smoke up your ass. Fucking Sadistic is all it is!
That is just low. They better have just gotten names mixed up.
