INTERVIEWS: (No. #3. Mistakes To Avoid) Appearance. *Men Tennis Shoes
READ THIS PLEASE! (Small things can make a big difference.)
We are living in a time filled with much exaggeration and everything becomes possible beyond your wildest dreams and imagination!
I've been very fortunate to have been the Chairperson on many interviewing panels and still today, I'm always amazed at what I see. If you think that on a beautiful day in spring, looking out the window watching the birds play, that someone won't walk into your interview with tennis shoes. Think again! Because it happens with both men and women!
Privately, I usually ask the board members to consider the fact that, most likely someone failed to train the individual on what board members look for.
TURNKEY: Become fully aware of what types of footwear may seem appropriate at your next interview. Then, exercise good judgment in meeting those requirements. You only get one chance for a good impression.
I Believe You Can...!

If someone needs to borrow a pair of dress shoes to go with slacks, sport shoes to go with sweatpants, safety boots with work pants, please ask a friend. And use common sense.

It's hard to walk in anything except sneakers.

I figure these people eater have no dress etiquette or a mentor to coach them. It is so hard nowadays to find a qualified candidate that may be they're thinking their dress will not hold them back from the job. But in reality there's others that will dress to impress with office attire that will get the job before them skilled unskilled criminal background no criminal background dress to impress tennis shoes.

Very nice shoes
What person in there right mind wears Tennis shoes to an Interview. I agree with the Chairperson this person definitely needs more training, on how to dress and what shoes to wear for an Interview.
