It has been said that you should only list your job history for the last ten years especially on applications. My problem is that the career field I am trying to get back into has nothing to do with the career field I am in now. I have been in the warehouse industry which is not working for me for 12 years. My real passion is in the environmental protection field. I have about 7 years experience but was in the field over 12 years ago. How does someone in my case create a 1 page resume listing your relevant experience in the past ten years. There is no way to do this. What kind of resume would you need. I have yet to figure it out. Would a skills resume be best? How would you fill out an application? Someone please help me.
