Need help!
I need advice from the medical billers here. I am just starting out in the field and am trying to learn how to complete ticklers. I am having a hard time understanding what needs to be rebilled, when to call the insurance company about the claim status, basically the whole thing. I've been trying to learn this the past couple of days and feel like I'm just not getting it. Please help!

Try you tube they have videos for every thing

you are supposed to join. that career as any, and only use your basic scholar

U can do these from your home instead of working for someone and subcontract for people from the comforts of your schedule and not someone else's u will do it correctly without all of those deadlines and pressure from the work place

Hi Tammy, try googling the matter, or finding self help tips, or blogs on line! Just a suggestion, I know nothing of the matter. Good luck!

First of all as a medical biller you need to realize you are not goi g to learn it in a few days. Medical billing is always changing and you are going to overwhelm yourself if you try to learn it all in a few days, start with denials. If the insurance company doesn’t pay check to reason codes . If it still doesn’t make sense and the claim was submitted properly then call. It might be something easy like a modifier code or it could be complicated where you have to do some research. Always ask questions don’t be afraid. That’s how you learn. Once you feel confident with denials move on to another piece of the puzzle. I have been a certified medical biller for 30 years and I still have questions at times. My best learning curve was asking questions and doing it. Over the years you pick up little tricks and next thing you know it’s second nature . Don’t get discouraged or overwhelmed you will get it. Take it slow and go for accuracy not quantity. Speed will come in time. Good luck

What type of insurance do you have

Hi, are you working as a Medical Biller? I’m an Experienced Full Cycle Medical Billing & Collections Specialist & trying to determine what you’re trying to accomplish.

Thank you everyone for the tips and advice. Yesterday went a bit better and everyone there has said it is something that's going to take time to learn. I will be working more hours until I learn it, then I will go down to my regular hours (part-time).

Are you working independently as a contractor or at a medical office?
