Motivation is not an issue I have plenty of applications out there can land the interview but never get the call back

Hi Beverly, First, are you following up after you have your interviews? If not, I definitely recommend doing this! I would suggest sending a thank you note the day after your interview to the person you met with. Then 1 week after your interview, give them a call to follow up and see if they might have any more questions for you.
Second, if you have any volunteer experience over the past few years, I would add that to your resume so they can see what other things you have been doing.
