Career Change
I’m tired(too smart, and too old) of being a server. I want something that will help me further my current degree and has benefits and long term possibilities with growth. I got a bit of a late start (like many of my generation. I am almost 32) and am having a hard time getting past anything beyond the second interview phase for any positions that would provide me with those desired benefits. Any advice?

Hi Katie Linder I think the first and most important thing is to figure out what you would like to do and then secondly look at what you've done previously and see which skills match up. So my advice is not to just find any career with benefits and blindly apply. Figure out how your skills match up and think about what you can bring to them. Tailor your resume around this.
