It depends on the type of position and the demand for applicants. I apply for counseling positions because it is my expertise and a great demand. Some positions require fingerprinting and background checks after the interview process. I apply for 3 new positions on a daily basis. I found that persistence is the key. Recently I received a job offer within 6 weeks of applying but I have turned down several because of location and salary.

B, 90 days sounds about right but it depends on the industry and the economy.

I think it depends on your job position and the Economy.

It took my dad 1 year to find another job in 2010, when he got laid off. In 2015, it took him 2 months.

In 2012, It took me 5 months to find my first full-time job. In 2015, it took me 3 weeks.

Also, it depends on what the job is, and how many resumes you are sending per day.
