Feeling hopeless and defeated
I have always worked and raised my daughter on my own since she was 11 months old, she will be 15 next month.
I am a LMT... i have been for many years.
I can get a job in south GA but since i moved here in North GA i can not get a job. Wvery single day i fill out applications online and i go out and hand write applicarions.. for anywhere now... no one calls .. i am married now since may of this year.. and my husband is having a hard time as he has taken on my bills.. which he cant afford. . He did not tell me he didnt pay my credit cards he let me find out by the phone calls and emails i got.. i have 2 credit cards.. i hate having them ... amongst other bills .. i asked him why didnt he tell me he didnt pay them he said he was too embarrassed too.. im like didnt you know i would find out.. i am not angry just makes me not trust him.
I NEED a job a part time job, i would love to still massage, that is my calling in life. I take my daughter to school and pick her up so i need to make my own hours. I can do that being a massage therapist.
Please keep me in your prayers.. its been a ling time sincec i have worked now.. well almost a year... thats just not me even at 50 years old.. and christmas coming up...
I am in many tears.
Hi Debbie, God is faithful to supply all of our needs. I pray God will give you the patience and faith to endure the wait. God is always right on time. God's Word us powerful, and comforting.
I'm so sorry to hear of your struggles right now. It's hard finding work in the south,that's why I chose to move to a different state where the job market is booming.I understand your frustration so here is my suggestion to you.Go have business cards and flyers made and promote your skills. Invest in your self and remain confident and faithful. God will make a way for you and your family.Prayer and positive energy really does change things.
Deborah - have you thought about doing your own massage therapy business? Or just start out with free lancing it for a bit? You can build clients and start making more and more money. I have a friend who did that and now runs her own business with 3 other MTs on staff. Also, check out chiropractic offices. A lot of them will have 1 or 2 massage therapists.
I did just start Plexus.... it is,an amazing company.
