The first thing I did was check my attitude. I would be the first to apologize if I did or said something to offend them. It is my belief and my practice to treat people the way I want be treated. As far as my coworker, I have to work with these people every day and I wouldn’t want misunderstandings to prevent us from working together successfully. As for customers, I apologized. We interview these people at Intake to hear their story, but we really haven’t experienced what they experienced in the workplace. So I apologize and try be a good listener. Being a good listener always helps.
