Only getting calls for interview I cant get too

I keep getting all these job interviews to jobs that I cant get to without having to take 4 buses to get to it. I have to rely on public transportation so it makes it very hard for me to go to these locations. I don't want to accept a job and then I am late all the time because the bus is late. I don't want to turn done an interview but I don't think its reasonable to go to all the trouble to get there and not get the job or get the job and then I am late all the time. Any suggestions?

You are right to be concerned over reliable transportation before accepting a new job. There are a few things you can do to target more interview opportunities. Set your job search settings to locate jobs within a 10 - 25 mile radius. Choose locations that are within the scope of your public transportation routes on the online application. Check 'No' on the "are you willing to travel question". Ask recruiters if there are job openings in closer locations. The fact that you're getting called for interviews means your skills and experience are in high demand. You just need to hone your job search a little more to get better results.
