Questionable ethics

Hello. I recently applied for a Director position with a leading health care company. I meet or exceed all of the stated position requirements. I have been interviewed by this company before, at different locations. The response I got back from them is that they will not consider me solely based upon the fact that they have a lot of applicants for this job. They stated that it has nothing to do with my qualifications or requirements of the job, it is simply because they have too many applicants. Their EEO statement on the website begins "All qualified applicants will be considered for employment...." This brings up several questions that I think may constitute discrimination--what criteria did they use to determine who would be included in the "too many applicants," and whom would be excluded? If they do not even screen for meeting of qualifications, and base it solely, upon numbers of applicants, can they actually exclude based upon the protected discrimination categories and get away with it? What are some thoughts on this?

I truly understand but going back and forth with it in your mind doesn't change the outcome so my thought is y put yourself through that when u know u deserve the best in life after attending school, updating your skills, etc.. Dont miss them cuz they missed out on you! God has something for us all but in due time when he knows we r ready for it and has well prepared u! Just trust in that always! : )

If someone states to u in one way or another that they dont want u just move on cuz why try to figure them out when it doesn't get u the job, might depress u, doesn't put money in your pocket?
