Should I stay or should I go?

I have been working for an employer for over six months and do a good job. It's tough because others don't do their jobs and I have to take up the slack. It's constant chaos because of those who don't do their jobs, but I've been dealing with it. I do more than my share! However, my boss expects 150% out of me, and largely gets it. Yet he says that I can't handle the job and do not deserve a raise! I fact, he threatened to fire me! So I quit! I feel he will never give me a raise, nor a good reference. What should I do now? Should I even list that job on my resume? Should I try to go back? How do I explain this to a new potential employer?

Keep it truthful, that you left to to seek an employment opportunity with advancement potential. Let them now that you are looking for a career with upward mobility. It's okay to tell an employer that it just wasn't a good fit for you. Leave out the stuff about them threatening you, and keep your personal feelings out of it. You don't want to speak ill of a prior employer. Good luck!

Well what I would do is put it down on your resume just put do not contact them and just put we didn't see eye to eye so you need to find something that would better suit you

It depends on how long you were there. If it comes up I would only say that you were downsized due to the companies economic situation. Nobody will expect you to explain further, as it would be knowledge you wouldn't have. Sorry to hear the story, but BS knows no bounds. Good Luck...
