Do you want a job badly enough to do this?

I read that big companies will be able send people to Mars in about 15 years. If you had a guaranteed job that paid really well ON MARS - would you take it??

I'm getting so sick of looking for a job, I just might do it!

No way. Some things are more important than money. That's why I haven't moved to a different city for a job - my family all live here.

Arnold this one is really different. It's funny to a point but must be a serious question for you. After thinking about it this is all I can get for you....... In this new economy you have to ask yourself the hard questions. What is my passion in the employment world. If you never drew a dime for that job what would you like to do?? Then go on and ask yourself what have you done to upgrade your skills to get that foundation for the chance to apply and interview for that job.....(have you gone to any training or attended a class....etc...). What is my role for my own success in this changing economy. Even with a good dam paying job on Mars you'll still have to apply to NASA, be screened with oth potential candidates who could be MORE qualified than you. Pass a mental and physical test. Background check.... Attend class on space travel and flight. Find out what is your trade or mission specialty on Mars.... Can you see here how much there is no difference between being here on earth trying desperately to get and keep a job, and being on Mars. Once I had a really good friend who attended University of Maryland. I attended Norfolk State. We both majored in Social Work. Think how frustrated she was as she found that I earned about $1,700 a yr. more than she did. But I speak, read, and write 3 much needed languages and she doesn't. I'm a veteran of the military and she's not..... Sure be frustrated, mad, upset, and come on job case and vent. But running to Mars to get around the ultimate end of upgrading your skill level. Attending a good training program, practicing your trade of passion and applying your craft for benefit of the public will still be the same on Mars. Man up..... get in line at the community college and put in the time. Sorry that it took me so long, but there was a MD and PROFESSOR who told me to not post ever again. I just didn't pay him ANY ATTENTION. Such as you. I know that you are capable. You can do this. Now get the hell up and prepare for the chance to apply and interview for that Mars mission....... Good Hunting my man...
