Celadon Bankruptcy: Thoughts?
Many of you have heard about the Celadon Bankruptcy situation that has affected over 3,000 drivers across the country. The Indianapolis-based company has left thousands of employees jobless right before the holidays, leaving many drivers stranded mid-route.
As more of this scheme gets unraveled, it becomes more obvious that the situation is more convoluted than it once seemed.
Curious to hear your thoughts about this...
As one of the employees affected directly by this. At this time it’s a wait and see is there will be monies left after the debts are paid. I did read there should be some left but how it will be dispersed and how much is anyone’s guess. But not holding my breathe and trying to locate new employment.
Sorry to hear about all the job losses. What a time for this to happen. All I can say is I hope you find another job soon.
So here's the real question. Who is going to pay off the debt that was left behind by this company?
I think it should be unlawful for a company to fold without paying the employees their money ,and for trucking companies not to get the truck back to their home domicile.CEO,s have a plan in place for themselves.
Why they wait before Christmas.
Unfortunately, near the end of the year is when workforce numbers begin to drop off.

Those truck drivers might be inconvenienced some but most of them will have no trouble finding another job. Most trucking companies are hiring drivers as fast as they can find them.
Hi ! I would prefer to have a stable and safe job! I have experience for drive , fork lift truck, painter and more. I am 24 and I am avaible soon for all jobs. Thank you !
