How does the pay work?
What should I do if my boss refuses to pay me OT? I asked my boss about the new overtime law yesterday and he said he doesn’t know anything about that. I work for a small company so the only other person I can ask is the owner but he’s never around. Do employers have certain amount of time to pay employee OT under the new laws? How does that work?

It's the law so employers have no choice but to pay. I read that there's still a high percentage of companies that are not prepared to roll this out next week. Track your hours

Check your pay stub to identify your current employment status. If you're an exempt employee working over 40 hours per week and earning less than the 47K then the rule applies to you.
