Outside of work
I feel like when I’m not working I’m too tired or don’t have friends to do any hobbies with. I think having hobbies are important but I don’t know what kinds I want to do. What hobbies do you have outside of work? How did you get involved? Any advice is helpful. Thanks!

I agree with Mariah. Exercise will really give you a lot more energy. Think of things you like and see if there are any local clubs that you can join for it. If you feel like you want to hang out with friends but don't really have much in common to do with them, find out what they like to do and learn it. Then you'll have a new hobby and a friend to do it with!

Hi Carlos:
I know this might sound like contrary advice, but try getting into a regular gym routine. The more physical activity you get, the more energized and positive you feel - and that can help you tackle the problem of feeling so tired at work. You should try out new classes or join a social sports team in your area - that can definitely help you make new friends.
Good luck!
I think what is important to remember is that a hobby is something that you enjoy doing. Reading, watching television, playing video games, playing instruments; these are all hobbies so it is not like you don't have any!
I go to the gym with friends so that makes it fun so maybe you can try finding a gym buddy (maybe even someone from work?) to go with you! Outside of that, I try reading, learning something new, watching tv shows (that I am perpetually behind on), playing video games, picking up my guitar once in a while. I don't like monotony so I keep changing things up.
How did I get into doing the stuff that I do? I knew that these things were fun and I enjoyed them/would enjoy them so they just came naturally. I say just do what feels right! That means exploring new things and to see if you like them though so there is a small amount of initiative you are going to have to take but it is all easy from there. :)
