To #LANDajob you must
The problem isn't getting hired. They are always desperate for healthcare providers due to the increased turn over due to the environment, the workload, the unrealistic expectations of time management, lack of assistance when you are overwhelmed, and the poor morale and attitudes from most CNAs! Basically the LPNS run the facility: doing admissions, discharges, expected to administer medications to 30 residents with in an unrealistic time frame, writing orders and making rounds with doctors amidst providing Care, calling Doctors to result and abnormal values, keeping family happy and assured of sufficient care, making md appointments and schedule transportation, and then trying to squeeze your duties into 8hrs. The moral is poor and most CNAs have difficulties taking direction and without right out say they won't do it. Insubordination is a definite. The residents are AWESOME and the DON and along with other office professionals were easy to get along with, but after 16 years of experience I feel as tho it was the most challenging and frustrating environment I had ever worked. Anyone who wants to #landajob needs to have a very high tolerance for being under pressure and duties and have the up most patience and most of all keep to yourself!
