DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT
Gm. I am a 6 time convicted felon living in Tampa, Florida who finally decided to turn her life around after being released from prison for the last time in 2012. My last "conviction" was 7 1/2 years ago, and it seems like when I apply to these companies, they hold that 1/2 against me. I got soooooooo tired of the rejections from these companies who claim to be "felon friendly" I decided to go back to school in August and work on my obtaining my AS degree in Counseling/Human Services, but the struggle is real when its time for a convicted felon such as myself to find a job The interviews go great but I always seem to get butterflies when the :BACKGROUND CHECK", (which I do indicate, if I am given the opportunity for employment, I will perform my job to the best of my ability with above satisfactory results) comes into effect..Any tips for a Customer Service Associate individual as myself?
