Coronavirus + no paid sick time = nervous mom

I am SO nervous! I work for a small business that cleans homes, hotels and motels so I work with a lot of traveling people all the time! I feel like this gives me a higher chance of exposure to the virus. Is this true?

I also have two young kids at home and I worry about them. What if I get sick and can't go to work??

It's called FEAR my friend. Mainstream Media has weaponized a virus that does much less damage than a typical flu does. Just stay clean and use common sense.

Oh no, Ernesta! As a mom, I totally feel for you girl! I don't think you should stress. I take the train every day and I am surrounded by MANY people throughout my travels. The key is to not touch your face, (in your case) use gloves, and if you are terribly nervous you could always consider wearing a mask!

I understand your nervousness, Ernesta... I feel that there are a lot of people who are questioning what they will do if they get sick and have to miss out on work.

Have you talked with your boss about your options? Is there a way you could do some work at home if you are sick? Maybe some paperwork or helping manage schedules remotely?
