How to get a job after 55 yrs old

I am over 55 yrs old I went back to school and received my BA in 2014 and I'm receiving my MA this weekend. My last full time job was in 2013, I have been working my own company, volunteering and going to school. How can I get back out there and look more appealing to employers? Do I start volunteering, temp agency or have some update my resume? Help!

Wow! Congrats on finishing your MA, Elois! That's awesome! I actually think all of those would be a good idea! Volunteering is a good way to gain experience and network with people in the field you want to work in. Temping can help you find jobs, and some can even go long term. And taking a look at your resume is never a bad idea.
