Dollar General
Does anyone work at Dollar General or have you ever and have you ever had any problems with them? My drawer came up short 40 something dollars and I don't understand it. I got a write up because of it and my manager told me if it happens again that's it. I'll be terminated so I'm now worrying about my job, especially when I have a phone payment do for my phone every week. Does anyne know if these write ups even expire?

Always log out when moving away from your register. Do not share your password.

Is there some way to attach a little bell or something to the cash drawer whenever it is opened?

Make sure to count your drawer when you start. Managers make mistakes too. Double count your change back to customer. Never allow someone else in your drawer.

If it was EXACTLY 40 dollars sounds like somebody went into your drawer and pulled out two 20's!!

Every job has a Snitch & someone that kisses boss ASS..

Typically, a writeup stays on your record for 12 months. Forty dollars is not pocket change, so please be accurate, dear.

The manager seems to be favoring the new girl way more. She's not near as nice as she has been at first

I put in the 150 event when it came up as 120 because the key holder that was training me told me to and told me it'll turn up

No.
Of course Dollar General didn't work out but I have been doing Postmates lately and I am fixing to start classes for Progressive Directions (PDI). I'm actually really excited. I haven't had my own place now for quite some time since I have been separated and I actually miss doing household chores which I will be doing quite a bit with them and I will be cooking meals for the 2 ladies I will be looking after. I'm not very good at cooking but perhaps this can be practice for me to get better at it. My job title will be direct support professional. I am really hoping to get through the class for it in the the time they allow. If you have ever worked for them or a place like them taking care of people, advice would be greatly appreciated....
