2 months in United States now - Seems to be long journey for job hunt

Hello everyone, it's been 2 months now I am in United States & constantly hunting for full time opportunity as Business Analyst in IT Industry. I am being interviewed with few consultancies and big time organizations (like JP Morgan Chase Bank, MB Financials, Ford Motors, Capgemini) which are paying standard rate as per pay scale & career builder evaluation system. I got one offer recently, where work was good, but pay was almost what a labor job gets. So I turned down the opportunity. According to all my fellow job seekers & experienced professionals, what is your opinion ? Should I have accepted the offer or be patient and search for correct match ?

Here in the states it is easier to find work once you have work and many times you have to take a less than ideal position because you don't have the experience many employers are wanting. I have a BS in Accounting but have a year before finishing my CPA and just started my Masters I work for pennies at an Administrative Assistant job because I need the county experience once I finish my CPA the experience from this position will open doors into much better positions. Ultimately it is not always about the money and many positions may come with a lower pay but better benefits at a lower cost than a slightly higher paying position. Any offer that comes along you need to carefully consider and many well educated. Extremely qualified people especially in a flooded industry like yours have been without employment for a long time so two months is nothing. The States are in a rough place employment wise so don't be so quick to turn your nose up at gainful employment you can still continue your search for something better but ultimately its up to you.
