My advice to people interested in working at #SVTronics,Inc as a #ExecutiveAdministrativeAssistant ...
Do not apply here. I was hired for a position that was created.I was told immediately, I would not be considered to go to meetings with Supervisor because I did fit the company's and Supervisor preference.( Code for color ( ethnic and size ). Then after three weeks , I was let go for no good reason. There is a weird environment here the workers are Majority west indians and so is the owner Jaysme who is a very rude and cast Man! He acts as if he is untouchable and he can bully and be uncivil to whomever he pleases. The people that work there are terrified of him and will not speak out. And if you do you are targeted for termination. It's like a third world in there, He walks pass you and does not say good morning when greeted, he treats and when does speak talks to everyone even clients like trash. Then there's this group of women who are all friends, in the department, I worked in who are allowed to do and say and act inappropriate because of silo and bonds built with Supervisor. This place has so many human resource infractions, yet this Owner seems untouchable again and gets away with this tyranny because of affliations and financial status.
The owner of the company is probably a SEEK. I worked for a Indian owned company for 13.5 years, and I agree they use peer pressure and silos very commonly. Nobody could believe I wasted 13.5 years there, but I enjoyed the safety industry, and they paid me every two weeks. In the end the owner promised me an "increase in compensation" (raise) if I would take on additional responsibilities. I agreed, and started the new tasks immediately, the owner never followed through with the increase, and when I asked him about it he got defensive. He then told me the company was changing direction, and he didn't want me involved any more. I left, and it ended up being the best thing for me, as there was so much pressure working for them. I'm glad you made it out. Good Luck...
