IT professional branching off into GPS Systems
Hi I have bachelors in IT but somehow just not as interested as I used to be...I've gained a passion for GPS systems and ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems)...with 2 years of driving for DHL, PC Tech Support for VDOT, GPS installation management, and Monitoring Logistics for the military using GPS systems and ITS...I'm now seeking a Job using ITS...where should I look in Atlanta?

Hey Sedrick, Congrats on your decision to pursue an ITS career. Recent growth in consumer online ordering is forcing companies to place special emphasis on maximizing logistics and distribution efficiencies so I think you're in the right field. Look into job opportunities in delivery companies(UPS & FedEx), retail logistics and distribution(Walmart & Amazon), and telecommunication companies (Comcast & Verizon). Please note the job titles may vary but these jobs are usually listed in the Workforce Operations, IT, & Logistics/Distribution departments. I'll keep an eye out for any related opportunities in your area. Reach out to me if you have any other questions.
