received a call for an interview. Went on line to research... after a while I got a bad feeling about the company... reviews on Glassdoor and Yelp... I ended up canceling the interview... That was my call... just do your research if they call you...

You're right about that. I did the same thing for a store calling me wanting me to go interview for a managerial position. Just about all the Manager who left said that it's a seasonal work. When it's summer, it's their busy season so you can work 50-60 hours but in the winter when it's slow, you only get 20-30 hours. That's the reason those previous Manager left feedback about that and why those upper level management never tell them that before hiring them.

Shoot, I ain't got time for seasonal work.

This is why I always researched the company before I sent in my resume. If I didn't apply to a company and they contact me, I always assume it's a scam or spam. If they don't refer to you by name and the email starts off with "dear applicant..". It's spam or a scam. And always look for a phone number and call to confirm. THEN look online for that company and call and ask to speak with the HR department to confirm. You can never be too careful or cautious when it comes to a potential employer.

They had go in for an interview and claimed they sent an email for it be at another location. Then I got an email while there stating the inter had been changed. A guy called 10 minutes later from his personal cell phone saying he was there HR Manager and he sent me an email the day before. I know for a fact that I never received anything.
