Wrongful termination

I have had a boot on my foot for the last 4 weeks. Just got it off Monday. My job told me I couldn't work with the boot come back when it's off. Ok I call my boss to let her know I'm good to go. Silence on the phone a few seconds and then she told me they terminated me because she didn't know where and what happened to me. Really I'm losing everything my home job I can't believe this is happening. Please help me on what I can do

I had the something similar happen to me. A Broward County School terminated me because I had three accidents on the job. Which were caused by a special student who put my back out of alignment. I was being sent to the Doctor by Workers’s Compensation, but I was fired by telling me that I was no longer needed because the special student was sent to another school. Since then I have not been able to work and I recently had a car accident that made matters worse for me. Due to all this change of fortune I decided to move out of Broward County. I have listed my house for sale and as soon as I get it sold I will move to Groveland, Florida. It does not make any sense for me to continue living in a district that offers no opportunities for people in my situation. Please unsubscribe me from receiving job case offers in this County. If you were approved for FMLA this is a violation of FMLA for retaliation. My friend was demoted lost hours when she returned from her leave not only did the Administrator get fired the DON was asked to step down the company was fined. She got back pay front pay and punitive damages and lawyer costs it ended up costing the place over $50,000. FMLA is a law and when employers break it then they should be held accountable for their mistake in breaking the law

Same thing happened to me... hernia from work, out for a month, got back and all of a sudden, i dont know enough about all the jobs in the factory, (which i have done every one of them). Workmans comp claim and i was done.... at will company that made me sign the (at will) agreement the day before i went out. This company ( duc duc , since have changed their name because of terrible product and terrible management towards employees to "the new traditionalist "... although it was tough at the time, found a more rewarding career helping less fortunate people.

Contact an attorney. If you have all your medical documentation you have a strong case of winning. When you injured your foot, did someone in HR give you information for short term disability and family leave act. They should have supplied you with this information knowing you were unable to work.

Same thing happened to me worked at my job for 4 years. They knew I would always be there worked and stayed to cover my reliefs shift because they wouldn't show half the time. I had a mild heart attack while at work got sent to the hospital by ambulance. Before this happened I was waiting to have surgery. But it got pushed back a couple weeks due to a mess up with my insurance well I had 2 major surgeries 3 weeks apart and was in the hospital for 8 days. I would text my boss on a regular to keep her posted. They denied me my insurance or temporary disability I been paying for for years . I was sent a letter stating I was terminated instead of my boss giving me the curiosity of telling me her self after the loyal service I gave the company. Corporate gave me attitude they wouldn't give me my unemployment and black balled me. I out my application in at a buisness that was affiliated with them knowing I'm experienced they give me an excuse and hire someone they have to train that never stays long and gives me an excuse every single time. When I'd ask my boss to hire me back she says she has a full staff couple days later I see a new face knowing that place has a revolving door everyone I worked with been there mulitple times. I have every piece if doctors documentation. He said legally I can't tell you what to do but go to my wife and get your records and handle your business. What is the time frame to sue for discrimination and wrongful termination while I was under doctors care
