Experience at Homegoods
You can more up within the company if your willing to be available to work 7 days a week from 6:00 am to 10:00pm. With two days off each week. And every week is different. The hourly pay is under minimum wage with maybe 50 cent raises
The first year I worked at the store it was great due to the excellent employees and management. We worked as a team. The second year management changed Which created low morale and high turnover. The store was micromanaged under strict procedures and lack of respect towards staff. I think the company has a great product but they do not values employees.

I currently work at a HomeGoods. You’re absolutely correct. In the 4 years I’ve worked there I’ve seen an excellent person demoted, a manager who’d been transferred to a store where awards were given for excellence come in and threaten to replace terrific workers and a manager quit after a week of feeling overworked. Throughout it all, for the most part, associates tend to be personable with each and more than willing to help each other
