What skills do I need to get hired as a Delivery Driver?
You just have to learn and understand the routes within your cities and state, then have a clean driving record and no criminal record.

I currently work for Uber, I started as a Uber Delivery driver, and then now as a RideShare driver! So, I know that I can answer this question. In order to be a successful delivery driver, you have to have excellent soft skills; communication, patience, problem-solving skills, and consistency. There will be times when there may be mix up with orders and you have to be able to assist in solving the issue. Sometimes the orders are not ready upon arrival and you have to have patience and wait for the food to be ready! When dropping off food, you might have issues finding their home or place if business, so you have to be able to communicate effectively with the customer. I hope this helped, you got this!
It really depends on the company. Generally there are usual requirements such as no criminal record, clean driving record. Some places require what's called a driver medical DOT card. You can Google the ins and outs of obtaining that card. Some driving experience is usually required also. That's about it.
