I say funny things on my flights
Does anyone else do this? I work for Delta as a flight attendant and I feel like it makes things light and the passengers get a little laugh especially when it's early. It also makes my job a little more exciting when we have to repeat the same message a few times a day. I sometimes say, "We are so happy to have you aboard Delta airlines today. We are pleased to have some of the BEST flight attendants in the industry!! ....Unfortunately, none of them are on this flight.” It always gets a chuckle.
Humour is a great way to help those with the "flying jitters". Great job! Wish you were on the flight with my mom last year. She squeezed my hand until it was numb.
Thank you for your service. I have been on a few flights where the crew make jokes and it is wonderful to hear the passengers giggle and give a sigh of relief. You are definitely helping passengers with anxiety. Thanks so much for your service!

Thank you for doing this! By now if there ISN'T a joke during the takeoff announcements I'm disappointed. I've had some really funny flight stewards/stewardesses and it's always nice.. especially for people who have never flown and get nervous!

If someone can't appreciate a little humor then they need to get a grip.
I had a flight attendant tell us once that in the event of an emergency and you have more than kid to pick your favorite and exit the plane. Love it!
I love this idea 💡 if I were a passenger and I heard you say this, I would have definitely chuckled and thought to myself “She seems cool…. This is going to be a good flight “! ✈️
