Jill; I know the feeling. I'm now nearly 66. 4.5 Years ago something close to that happened to me. I was working as a Kosher supervisor, for a staffing company, in the great plains & upper great lakes. After working there 3.5 years, with no raise, & constant increases in the required time on site, my boss wanted to reduce my pay by 10%. When I said no way, he told me that I'd be laid off in 3 weeks; but be required to teach my replacement, who was an 18 year old Israeli draft dodger. Please note that under Jewish law, this job required Rabbinic ordination. Were this child ordained, he would have known the job, & I wouldn't have to have taught him a thing of that specific job requirement. I'm partially handicapped, but instead of getting $197 a month in disability, on top of my social security, I only get $13 a month. So I know what is unfair. This child, back in the spring of 2012 worked for 13 months at $150 a week less than what I was paid for 3.5 years, at far more hours than what I ever worked there.
