Another Job Scam
Hi all: Well, below is another e-mail I received from a definite scammer:
Lysander Wright
Hi Scott, good call, it's definitely a scam. But I don't want to focus so much about examples of scams, I'd rather teach everyone here the signs of a job scam so that they can learn to spot them on their own. So given this list of ways to spot and avoid job scams (https://www.jobcase.com/conversations/99b495e9-df66-5cb0-90f3-61718b0d4ecc?from=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.jobcase.com%252Fconversations%252F99b495e9-df66-5cb0-90f3-61718b0d4ecc) how may red flags does this post raise? Well 1, they emailed you from a gmail account, not the actual account. 2, the person is outside the US. 3, they offered you the job without an interview. 4, they are asking you for banking information!
It raises ALL the red flags! Thanks for sharing scams and in the future, can you share what tipped you off so that other people can learn your good skills?
Thank you!
