Contact Page?
Anyone ever use the Contact Us area on company websites to follow up on your applications? I’m thinking about sending a brief message addressed to the human resources manager to see if I can get a response but I want to check with others that may have tried this in the past. I applied everywhere and no one has called me back yet. Trying to think outside of the box to get more attention from recruiters and hiring managers after I apply. Any positive or negative results using this approach? Suggestions are appreciated.
Really great idea. I've done follow up on my applications before by just cold calling the company's number (you can usually find it on google). I've found if i'm polite and ask to speak to whoever is in charge of hiring for my job role, i get great results.
I tried that before and it took forever to get a response back. The representative that answered directed me back to the company career page to re-apply.
