Money Stolen
So I've been at this new job a month now & this new server decided to take my tip off my table while I was dealing with other customers..Idk if I should tell my manager & have her run the cameras back cause it really upsets me that we have ppl like this in the workplace, I dont steal from anyone so i expect the same in return, if i choose to help clean one of the servers table and there's a tip I'll automatically tell them theres a tip on the table and allow them to come get it before i touch the table so that theres no issues but not everybody moves like that. Smh what should i do cause im pretty sure its not her first time doing that.
I, think you should talk to the manager and let them handle the problem.
Genell, I feel you must tell the manager. If you allow theft to happen, it will get worse, and you will be partially to blame because you didn't help to stop it. I understand you are a nice person, but theft is a sign of disrespect, and you cannot allow that. Good Luck...
I think I would bring it up with the manager....if it's something this person is doing frequently, they need to be reprimanded for it.
U should have the manager view the footage but if I were u I would say I'm not sure who took it ( unless I r 100% sure who did) but I would luv to be vindicated cuz thats basically theft.
