I screwed up.
I reluctantly took a call center customer service job I was referred to by a friend to help me catch up on bills while I continued to look for job in my field but after a week taking calls I’m ready to pull my hair out. The customers are Crazy and sooo Rude!! CRS’s should earn a lot more money for doing that job. I’ll give it another week or so before I decide to stay or quit. Tip,,,, “be careful what you ask for because you just might get it.”

I understand completely. I just need to get my foot in the door to sell myself! 30 years of Customer Service should count for something! Right? Good luck and hang in there!!

Looking at your profile here, you may be having a timeline issue like I did last year. I adjusted my timeline to show NO GAPS. You can put non-worked related things in your timeline -- aging parent, volunteer time, education, sabbatical. I think many hiring managers simply want to avoid interviewing folks with a gap caused by prison time.
