Carpenter Apprentice at Rcl Home Builders Llc

You can have a better life!

More money than many college graduates? No need for a four year degree? Yes, plese.

Good news for all those willing to get your hands dirty: there is an enormous opportunity brewing right now in the trades. Carpenter, Electrician, Steamfitter… these jobs require limited vocational training but provide outstanding careers with great pay and benefits.

If you have a choice, don’t settle for that minimum wage job at Macy’s as a long-term career. With a couple of years of training you can improve the financial situation of your family by leaps and bounds!

Check out this article from the New York Post: http://nypost.com/2016/07/31/why-millennials-are-forgoing-college-for-blue-collar-jobs/

“There’s a major shortage of skilled and semi-skilled workers nationwide. And according to the Department of Labor, for example, the 10-year projected employment gain through 2022 for carpenters in New York City is 14 percent (24 percent nationwide) with the annual local wage for experienced journeymen nearly $90,000.”

It's also less likely a robot is going to steal your job. Low skill labor can always be automated - I doubt we are going to have robotic plumbers anytime soon though!
