I just got a call back for this amazing opportunity but I’m worried about a virtual interview scheduled for this week. Never done a virtual interview before, any suggestions?

Do a test interview with all of your technology today, to make sure everything works and is set up properly for the real thing!

Good afternoon, if you have time try practicing with someone doing a mock virtual interview to get some feedback on how you are coming across. I found this to be very helpful.

Make sure to take the video call in a clean, quiet setting where you will not be disturbed! Also, when talking to your interviewer, make sure to look into the camera for more direct eye contact, rather than looking at the screen or keyboard. Good luck!

I think the same things goes with virtual as it would with in person. Look nice and be prepared the same way you always should be. Also, it could be good to check your internet connection is working correctly and everything is going to run smoothly for it. Good luck!
