I can still do this
I have over 20 years of truck driving experience, hold an active CDL license, and a clean driving record but I’ve been turned down by all the distribution and warehouse delivery companies I’ve applied too. I’m 54 years old, in good shape with a sharp mind and I know that I can easily work another 20 years, no problem. So how can I put that on my resume and get these employers to give me the time of day? Any other experienced senior level career drivers also having issues finding a job because of age bias?

Would you be open for a delivery job? I heard that good paying freight jobs are hard find at the big companies. Driver's are union with great pay and benefits so they stay on those forever. You'll probably be able to find a part-time or seasonal deliver position right away and get your foot in the door.
Do you have insurance?
