Time-,management! Its the one skill set that employers LOVE! However, if you find yourself cranky, something has to be left out! If you dont plan to be in the NFL, or a football coach, rethink continuing the sport ONLY if a job is TRULY needed! Indeed. Com to apply to jobs nearest you. ; )

Set goals and priorities and CONTINUE to reach out for help like you are doing now. Nobody, absolutely, NOBODY accomplishes the balance of school, life, and recreation by themselves ; we all get help from others. Finishing school IS necessary. Supporting yourself by finding a job IS important. Unless football is paying for school, I would keep that as recreation, which is also important. Find a job that accommodates your school schedule and gives you time to devote a few hours a week to football. Most students either work 1-2 part-time jobs while going to school OR they pursue internships in their field of study. I hope this helps.

I know the feeling. I attended school with 12 to 16 credits a semester, worked 40+ hours a week, while raising two teenagers and a wife. The secret is... Well what worked for me is I allowed myself time and space to just walk away for a half hour or so. I would schedule tv time and "me" time. Usually ten minutes every hour of homework. Work was actually a welcomed retreat. Hope this helps. I did graduate Magna Cum Laude with a dual bachelor's, stayed married and didn't get fired so there is hope. Best of luck.

Do you have enough credits at school that you can do work study? If so, that would be a way to do school, work and the football. Find something you enjoy! My son has always loved dinosaurs, he has work study at the dinosaur park. Learning skills he would not gain from working at Wendy's, he gets school credit, and does what he loves. Its tough, but life is tough. Hang in there! Make sure your school comes first!!

Most jocks get jobs in warehousing and or some manual labor job. it helps with the experience and, if you stick around you can promote quickly.

hii - im hayley - I have pretty similar issues with field hockey, but my job isn't too stressful, so when I'm home I can focus on homework and stuff. I actually started a jobcase group around young people. I'll send you an invite

Fellow kid here, I have to tell you that School comes first but stress is what I deal with all the time with having a 25 hour work week, Stress is part of life, staying up late with home work is a part of my struggle but it's worth it
