Reimbursement Analyst at Occam Healthcare

Relocating to Miami, FL

I will soon be relocating to Miami FL area and am looking for working in my area. I have medical office experience - more so as insurance specialist, appeals, reimbursement analyst and or PA. Can someone direct me to a good head hunter.

Very crazy I know, but since my work status changed and Miami seems to be soooo expensive I am changing my mind and now thinking ATL suburbs might be a best idea. My dad lives around there. Rent is way cheaper. Looking at the schools, depending on where you are are better too.

I was born and raised in Miami as well. I have been a resident in North Atlanta since 2002 and I love it!! I agree with Mia. It is not how it used to be. If you have kids, don't do it!!! I agree with the others in that it is too expensive to live down there and they don't pay well. Not to mention they discriminate heavily if you don't speak Spanish. The middle class status amongst Whites and African Americans is shrinking rapidly. I was just home in Miami for a year and 10 months and I couldn't wait to get back to Atlanta. However, if you must relocate, try Vitas Healthcare (a good company) and Jackson Memorial/ UM hospitals. Wishing you well. I hope you speak Spanish!!!!

Do you speak Spanish? You will most definitely need to in Miami. I live in Miami, born and raised. Most of these position in Medical Offices require you to be Bilingual ( English and Spanish. Thank God, I work in the Engineering Field. However, I learned Spanish by choice as Miami is predominantly Hispanic now. Look on Indeed for jobs in Miami. You don't need a head hunter/or recruiters. Baptist Health has a large network of hospitals and urgent care facilities all throughout Miami. Jackson Memorial and University of Miami, Physician's and Hospital is huge as well. Good luck!!!
