This is a challenging job market!!!
After reading all of the responses, I noticed I am not alone in the searching for a job!!! What is going on?? I have an excellent work history, my background relates to Compliance; Insurance and Banking. I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administrative, which seems to be not relevant anymore, employers are looking for candidates with a Master's degree and offering a salary of $45,000!!! I don't understand!! This is crazy!!! However, I have faith in "GOD" that the perfect opportunity will be presented to me in due season. To all of my job-seekers, keep the faith and know this too shall pass!!!

Ms. Wilson that's a beautiful attitude and way to get things done. Don't discount your degree. They are still very marketable. The MPA is what's eating up the clout in your field of work. Consider maybe changing your area of search and do a nationwide job hunt. Or go lateral to something else like it but not the same. Down sizing and cut backs are not over yet. Give it 1-3 more yrs. and change is coming. But keep in mind that pay or salary will NOT be the same. Re tool your resume.

Thank you, Obama.
You certainly have the right attitude and spirit to manage the challenges and frustrations of the daily job search. Jobs for applicants with higher level degrees are limited making the application pool very competitive. But like you said all we can do is keep trying and wait for the Lord to deliver.
