Got terminated
So Friday I got terminated from my job due to lack of performance and that I was a bad fit. I worked for a bank that treated me unfairly. I started this job in the beginning of December. There were a couple of issues I had including me calling out sick. I called out sick because I was sick but told me this was included in my final warning letter. This was when I was there 3 months. Then there was another issues that I made but told my manager about. This was also included in my final warning letter. But then there were things that happened. I was really sick one day and both my manager and assistant manager told me I had to stay in at work because we were short handed. Then I passed out on the keyboard and then I passed out on the floor. While this happened both my manager and assistant manager went down for a smoke. I was then taken to an ambulance. There was no plan in place. After I got back to work they added a new policy. So I don't know if this has to do with my termination or what not but is this something that I can fight for? And for the other things that was put on my final warning letter, were they trying to let me go no matter what?

I had a norovirus that hit me hard and I was brought to the hospital. My manager and assistant manager were written up for it because it was wrong for them to do what they did. And my manager had to be forced retired from it. But right after I got back, they put a policy in place.

Medical excuses from A medical Professional should be excusable under a 90 day rule ect. Calling out go to the Dr. Present medical excuse. Under advisement of consultation with an Attorney LEGAL AIDE...Employee Attorney..if unacceptable from there.

I am sorry you loss you job. Always put things in writing, and in the first ninty or the first three months new employers do not want you late or sick for work. I know things happen, but now you know repent and move on and do better at your next job.
I pray there will be a quick turnaround time when you find another job. Hang in there.

Hello Joseph Sorry to hear about the unfortunate experience, this could be signs of a serious illness especially blacking out. Better to black out behind a desk than behind the wheel of a vehicle. Do you have heart problems? However, other situations can cause you to faint/black out such as dehydration, coughing, other cardiovascular conditions, different types of medication, hunger, diarrhea, a big area panic and anxiety attacks, diabetes, anemia, seizures. In any event blood flow is the major factor in fainting episodes, and any changes to it and the accompanying symptoms need urgent care. In severe and rare cases, fainting from arrhythmia can be a warning sign of cardiac arrest. I now see this after the change of employment events in my life I started focusing in on the trucking industry because you need all these tests and the D.O.T. physical requirement. You have great employment and your able to keep your health in check :). Maybe the health industry but really there isn't any other industry out there in today's employment challenges that hold great pay, benefits and health check with all the tests is the trucking industry. There is employment all over the place, they chase you down what I have noticed. Your valuable especially having the tests, all the endorsements, hazmat and TSA Clarence. However, trucking industry is best done if your single or have an understanding spouse.

well you pass out and they dont know if it was drugs or what but if i was the bank manager i would terminated you to, but you can join the Air Force or Army they giving $40,000 for school and bonus too and 30 days leave. so if you get sick you have the days. Many young men are lazy and make many excuses why this an that. be a real man and dont make no more excuses make it happen don't get a job ,get you a career. some where you going to be a while. Lead ,follow or get out of the way!!!!!!!!!!! thats what real men do !!!

Maybe consult a lawyer that represents clients for wrongful termination from employment.

The best approach to your situation you could have done was when calling in sick cover yourself, if you are sick as much as you say you are, go to the doctor have them take you out of work, make sure the notes stated days you will be out and when you will return. No jobs like anyone calling in sick all the time. Especially if you have nothing to show you are sick. If I am sick I do go to the doctor. As fall as you falling out, you should have had something in writing stating your condition and what the affect of that condition is. I don't agree with them firing you. But if you had been warned and did the samething. That different. I was let go for all different reason. I was lied upon and had witness. That why I tried to fight mine. But NC is one of those states, I don't care what you do you will not win. So the best thing for you is to get another job and asked god to give you the one he wants you to have, not the one you want. Once he gives you something it cannot be taken away from you. I am witness to that. This person saying he does not need god. Apparently you don't know him. Cause everyone needs him.

Yep, there more "animals" of there than in the zoos!

Yes! You can go to the unemployment and in the mid time you collect, put an investigation. They got you out in ambulance. That is not a negligent act. Fught for your rights, even uf you don't want ti return to that job. Let them know abuse has a way of ending. God bless!
Don't waste your time with this company. What's done is done. You can't change the past. It sounds like you have health issues. If you don't know what's causing your health problems, you need to see a doctor and find out. No one wants to hire a person who is constantly calling out sick or leaving early. Also, if you do know what your health problems are, you need to get them under control. For instance, if you are a diabetic, you need to get your diet under control to stop spikes and drops in your blood sugar. Employers don't want to deal with "high risk" employees. I've been told once to "get my blood sugars under control", by a boss. That's all it took. I haven't had a problem since. I haven't missed a day of work in years. I haven't lacked in my work performance because my sugar was too high or too low, and I haven't actually passed out on the job almost two decades. I am a type 1, insulin dependent, and all it took was a few changes to my diet to get my issues under control. I do a job that is highly physical, and have no problems, now. I've also managed to reduce my cholesterol, blood pressure, and my A1C's to that of a normal person's. I do pretty good with keeping up with those guys on my shift that are only 20 something. Not better for being a diabetic for over 25 years.
