Fustrated
Had 3 interviews with a casino dream job I applied for a porter but since I have 30 yrs at pizza hut 15 as a manager they asked me if I would like to be a supervisor I said yes. They said they had a worker leaving and they just bought out another casino.my boyfriend came with me and by my 2nd interview they asked me what he did I said casino the guy said he wanted to pick his brain a little I felt like they wanted him more than me. It went so well but when he said they would call me Monday and didn't I was disappointed I did a follow-up 2 times. I'm moving on. I looking for work a career now I'm still at pizza hut part time and work at a gas station full time that's not what I want to do forever now that I'm applying places they wanna put me in retail or some low paying job no I don't have a resume I really need advice please thanks
Hi Michele, I think the very first thing you need to do is get a resume made! This is really one of the most important parts of applying for jobs. I would also suggest going to your interviews alone as taking someone with you could possibly make the employer think you always need to have someone with you. Of course this may not be true, but remember first impressions are truly vital! I hope this helps and good luck with your continuing search!
