You need to have patience
Working retail can be tough. Customers get angry, frustrated, and can easily take it out on you or each other. When I worked at Target I was lucky because I had great managers and co-workers who would come to your rescue if need be. Teamwork is something that I liked there. One day I had two parents come to my register with some kind of toy that both their kids wanted. One tells me he needs it for his kid's birthday and the other one says that they need it for their son and they had it first. They ask me which one had it first. I had NO clue so my co-worker saw that they were getting really upset and rushes over. She looks up the toy in our system and thank god found it in another store. She says to one of the parents that there is another one in a local store and they instantly calmed down. The customer is always right and in this case I was just glad a fist fight didn't happen, haha.

What works on the job - works at home - well done

Sounds like you did a great job handling your job

Nobody can say the customer is always right. Especially when they’re walking out the door with a 72 inch TV and the receipt supposedly is in the car. You have five camera saying she didn’t pay. She wanted to see the video, I said sure when troopers comes you can see the video, again the customer wasn’t right in this situation.
I was working customer service desk and a customer said I want this for 24.99 the regular price was one 119.99 So I Asked her , I said where was that sign saying that was that price 24.99? She said I don’t know you find it. She wanted to distract me so her person that she was with could steal merchandise. . I knew at that point that was the reason she want to distract me so I called several people to assist her person defined 24.99 from one119.99, as they were looking at it, security was looking the other person there was four of them the other person was filling their jackets with merchandise. To make a long story short? Isn’t always right

Hi I want u know full detail of job

I have seen fights in stores before. It's crazy what being a parent can do to you! You just want the best for your kid.

You are so right Nicole that patience and teamwork are so very important. It's good you had that support system to help you when you needed it most!

Wow. Was it on black friday? I know retail can get INSANE on that day.
That is really great that you had the support of your team! Team work makes the dream work;))
