My spouse and I were both working for the same company, however this company tried to run us into the ground. Not enough pay and us two were basically keeping the business running. There were 10 employees and if it weren't for him and I that place would have fallen apart. I was the manager and he was the overnight stocker. 7 days a week, and I mean NO days off. There was no appreciation and many promises were made by district and operations managers but they never followed through. I told them if you can't, you can't, just don't make promises you cannot keep. Needless to say they continued to do so. After working a double shift I had an employee call in and was told by my district manager I would have to work if there was no one else that could, or would. I took it upon myself to not be ran into the ground by a company that did not care about its employees. So I left and my spouse followed as he was not going to work without enough help either. Besides, we live in New Mexico and state laws prohibits anyone working alone during 11pm and 5am, there must be at least 2 people. The very next evening they had shut down 3rd shift and its been a month and still they have no one to work it. My spouse and I both have been looking for work for about a month and we actually found a job together today. We will be working at the same place, same shift, kind of like before with the exception that this company seems to be one that cares about its employees, well, we will see. I am just happy we are going to be working very soon! I probably won't be on here much so thank you to all of you that have been so supportive to everyone.
