Oh and as an addendum, I forgot to mention if it's general other than honorable, you can petition to get that upgraded.

You might also consider being a private bodyguard but generally you'd find a job like that in a major city. If you don't mind my asking, was it a dishonorable discharge or general under honorable conditions? We all make mistakes so I don't want you to feel like this has to be with you for the rest of your life. You will find your way.

Anthony r u truly sure of what u stated? I'm not one way or the other, however, if I were the initial poster I would look into it unless Anthony was in the military , exited, and tried to recruit.

What about applying for peace officer, or law enforcement? Indeed. Com also has much info for warehouse work and the pay can be pretty decent! Blessings!

In some states, there is a legal loophole. I don't know which state you live in , however, depending on the laws in your state, you just might be able to secure employment as an undercover agent for a licensed security company as undercover agents are not required to be registered in the regulated field of private security, atleast in Texas occupations and professions code 1702.240(a) and (b).

Hi Paul: I'm so sorry to hear that. I know you can't get a job in security, but is it at all possible for you to look into careers as a firefighter or another public service job where you can protect others? I don't know enough about your situation, so I'm not sure my advice is relevant - but it's worth looking into!
