Is loading and unloading the trucks hard?
I weigh 90lbs.and im 4ft.tall. Maybe, I could sort or scan items. Im not sure what is best for me.I could use some advice...
There r other jobs u could do. I'm sure ups has something. I worked at the usps. For 14 yrs there r computer jobs..sorting and delivering small pkgs.
You need to be able to handle 70lbs by yourself to load or unload the trucks. But that is not your only option. You can request to work with the small packages, or sort packages. Still very busy hard work, but not nearly as heavy for individual packages.
I work at FedEx and some days are harder than others. It depends on what kind of packages you are handling too. Plus larger heavier packages require a team lift. Those are not put into the chute. Packages up to 80 lbs can be put through though. You learn to leverage or pivot the boxes.
A friend of mine worked 20 yrs. at a newspaper plant and was 90 lbs. And she worked hard and loved her job. You can do it!
You will have someone helping you unload the truck there. Normal y to to people unloading the and to others sorting the merchandise. To get to the sales floor.
Yes but if you are dedicated and donf get overwhelmed you can make it work
No it's not hard and it not because you are a female, its HEART!!! You have t o want like it and do it! Get help with to big stuff and get in a zone!! Dont eat a big lunch, drink plenty of Water, and love your Job!!!! Take your time learn and you will be the BEST!!!
2 hard for females.
Look for something u enjoy, and work smart at it never hard.
